Dawson Seitz joins the WHL Edmonton Oil Kings
Platinum Star Power Skating wishes Dawson Seitz all the best as he joins the WHL Edmonton Oil Kings this fall. We have had the distinct pleasure of working with him on a consistent basis since he played Novice hockey.
We are proud of you, Dawson and will be cheering you on all the way!

Tristan Lambert signs with Drumheller Dragons
Tristan Lambert, who was a member of the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs Midget AAA last year, has signed his letter of Intent for 2019/20 with the Dragons. Lambert had 22 point in 32 games played last season.
We are extremely proud to have worked with Tristan his entire career!

Blake Fournier and Dylan Gejdos win Championship
Extremely proud of Blake Fournier and Dylan Gejdos for winning their National Hockey Championship this past week in Dallas, Texas. Hats off to the Minnesota Beavers for this amazing milestone! Blake was also named Tournament MVP.... great leader and respected young man! Well done!

PSPS Coach Stefan Meyer Receives Accolade
Platinum Star Power Skating is truly proud to salute one of our own! Stefan Meyer has been voted and selected as the most recent recipient of the Purple Army Wall of Fame. Stefan played with the Scotland Clan from 2014 – 2016. His number will officially be retired at a ceremony in Scotland this spring. Well deserved, Stef!!!

Kye Fahselt makes Swift Current Broncos PeeWee AA Team!
Kye will be playing for the Swift Current Broncos PeeWee AA team as an offensive defenceman. Kye was able to develop his strong skating skills through a series of private lessons with Platinum Star.

Robert Bowers is Guest Speaker at the Platinum Star Hockey School
Driving up to the Family Leisure Centre Wednesday you might have thought there was a rodeo school going on. Kids outside gleefully roping fake calves. Inside, rodeo legend, Robert Bowers, held court with room-fulls of youth, telling stories of his days at the National Finals Rodeo and showing off the cheque for $85,677 he won at the Calgary Stampede in 2004.

The team at Platinum Star Power Skating is very proud to announce the induction of our President, Gay Dubeau, to the Medicine Hat Sports Wall of Fame for her dedication to ice sports in the City over the past 40 years. Congratulations, Gay!

Congratulations to the Medicine Hat U14A Tropics for winning the Provincial Championship in Medicine Hat this past weekend! Something to be very proud of... A great team to work with!

Kudos to John Karamanos and his U14A Ringette team, the Tropics, from Medicine Hat who won Gold at the Esso Golden Ring Tournament in Calgary the weekend of January 20th. Their record this season stands at 35 -1-1 thus far. Way to go team . . . A fantastic feat! All the best for the current season!
